In Singapore, the National Secretariat of the ASEAN-COCI is administered by the National Marketing Division of the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) at 140 Hill Street, 5th Storey, MICA Building, Singapore 179369.

The National Secretariat services the Sub-Committee on Culture and Sub-Committee on Information on project implementation and general matters.

In June 1997, Singapore assumed the chairmanship of ASEAN-COCI from Philippines for a three-year term. Singapore has chaired the main ASEAN-COCI meeting annually since 1997, until April 2000, when the Chairmanship was handed over to Thailand.

In January 2000, Singapore hosted the First Meeting of Sub-Commitee on Information and in June 2006. the Sixth Meeting of the Sub-Committee on Culture.
