Abdul Ghani Hamid
Abdul Ghani Hamid writing career began in 1960, when he published Sekilas Pandang Seni Lukis Dan Perkembangannya (A Glimpse of the Arts and its Development), which has become an important source for researchers who want to study the development of Malay artists in Singapore. He has also written biographies such as that of novelist Harun Aminurrashid and politician Ya’acob Mohamed.

Abdul Ghani Hamid recently published Tawajuh (Devotion), a collection of 20 of his poems. Having had a Malay and English education, Abdul Ghani is also proficient in the use of the English language, and had published a collection of English-language poems, Breezes, in 1978.
