Meng Yi
Meng Yi is the pen-name of Wong Meng Voon. In 1969 and 1979 respectively, he published two collections of short stories entitled When I See Hui Lan Again and I Want to Live. Meng Yi was awarded the Singapore Cultural Medallion (Literature) by the Singapore Ministry of Culture in 1981 and presented with the Southeast Asian Write Award in 1981.
